The Lande de Bretagne is a hardy breed of sheep that is well suited to the Breton climate. It can live outdoors all year round and is highly resistant to disease and parasites. It is now protected by a conservation programme.

Composition of lamb meat packages

Our organic Landes de Bretagne lamb meat is cut by a professional organic butcher, vacuum-packed and sold:

  • In boxes: packs of 6.5 to 9 kg at a price of €21 per kg including VAT. This corresponds to half a lamb (1 shoulder, 1 leg, ribs, breast, neck, etc.).

  • As a whole carcass: if you want to organise a barbecue, you can order a whole lamb ready to cook. Price: €17 per kg including VAT.

  • Merguez sausages: vacuum-packed in packs of 6. Price: €21 per kg including VAT.

To reserve your lamb meat package, please fill in the order form below and I will contact you by email and/or telephone to let you know the exact date for collecting your package from the farm.

Once all the parcels have been reserved, the animal will be slaughtered in an approved abattoir for certified organic animals, left to mature in a cold room and then cut and packaged in a specialised workshop. You will then be contacted by email and/or telephone to inform you of the date on which you can collect your parcel from the farm.

The meat is vacuum-packed with a traceability label (weight, name of the cut), which guarantees you:

  • total hygiene

  • excellent preservation of the flavour and texture of the meat

  • optimised tenderness (slow maturation)

  • retention of meat juices in the cuts

  • no additional water release during thawing

  • better cooking results: a more tender and melt-in-the-mouth cut
